I have a dial-up connection. Can I still use SecureIT?
Yes. All of our support tools, processes and products were built with dial-up connections in mind. For dial-up customers we recommend purchase of the CD-ROM version for initial install.[Top]

SecureIT is compatible with all makes and models of Windows desktop and laptop computers.[Top]
What operating systems does SecureIT support?

What are the system requirements?
Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista/XP/2000Processor - Pentium III or better processor (32bit)
Hard Disk Space - 200mb free space
System Memory - 128mb RAM (512 for Vista)

What do I get if I purchase the Install Help?
- Security software installed by a certified technician
- Validation of successful installation

Is the service guaranteed?
Yes and our guarantee is simple... "If we install SecureIT Live or SecureIT Plus, we guarantee it!" If we can't fix the problem first, you will receive up to $100 to correct the security related issue. The guarantee is only available if we install the software for you.[Top]
How many computers can I install my copy of SecureIT on?
A single SecureIT license may be installed on up to three of your PC's. A single SecureIT Live or SecureIT Plus license can only be installed on one computer.[Top]
Are your support specialists qualified to work on my computer if I experience issues?

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

Does SecurityCoverage have access to my computer?
Absolutely not! SecureIT services were built with your security and privacy as first priority. All the updates, scanning, and protection happen from your computer.Nothing is sent to us outside of the reporting statistics which are made fully available to you on our reporting website and through our monthly e-mail summary.

Do I still have to have a separate anti-virus program?
No, the SecureIT service will provide you with everything you need to safely navigate the Internet and effectively and efficiently use your computer.[Top]
Is there anything that I need to do to keep things updated?
No, the value of this service is that it applies all updates and runs all of its various scans behind the scenes without you having to worry.[Top]
Do I have to leave my computer on all of the time?
No, if you happen to have your computer off at the time the program runs its various scanning processes and updates, they will automatically run the next time you turn your computer on.[Top]
How do I know that I am being protected?
If you have SecureIT Live or SecureIT Plus you will receive a monthly e-mail detailing the activities that have been executed by your SecureIT software. In addition you can check the online reports anytime, which are updated every 24 hours.[Top]
