SecureIT Services Status

In this tab a check will be made to ensure that your SecureIT Services are working properly and are completely up to date by comparing the versions on our servers with the versions listed on your machine.  Your computer MUST be connected to the Internet during this process.

If an Internet connection is not detected and you use dial-up, we will try and automatically dial your default connection and the following message will be displayed: (see images below)

Management Console Status Verfication

If you still can not get connected to the Internet, the following message will be displayed at the bottom of the Status page on the Management Console.

If there is a problem with one of the components not running correctly or if one of the components is not completely up to date, the Management Console will display which component is having issues. You can view what is missing by clicking on the underlined word. Below is an image of a Management Console, components all passed. If something is missing an update, there will be an option to "Update All Components."

Click on each update link provided to view the update message. (see image below).

As you can see, not only will it give you details that the service is not fully running, passed, has an update missing, or has a critical issue, but it will also give you exact details on what services/programs are not running and what the current version is that should be loaded.

Update All Components

When you select the "Update All Components Option" SecureIT will update all of your SecureIT Components and all other components including anti-virus and anti-spyware.  Upon clicking "Update All Components" you will see a screen that looks like the following: (see image below)

When the scan is completed, "Finished Updating All Components" will be displayed just above the progress bar.  Please click on the "Close" button to exit the Management Console or click on the Status tab to refresh your SecureIT Services Status.
